Apple has filed a lawsuit against cell phone manufacturer HTC for patent infringement. It is accusing the smartphone maker of 20 patent violations.

My take is that the lawsuit is an attempt to spread FUD--fear, uncertainty, and doubt--across the Android world.
We can sit by and watch competitors steal our patented inventions, or we can do something about it. We've decided to do something about it.
